Fast National ratings for Monday, July 27, 2009.

Jillian Harris finally made her decision on Monday night's "The Bachelorette" and big ratings followed for ABC.

Among adults 18-49, ABC averaged a 3.1 rating, solidly ahead of second place CBS' 2.1 rating. FOX was third in the key demographic with a 1.4 rating, topping the 0.8 rating for NBC and The CW's 0.4 rating.

Overall, ABC averaged an estimated 8.74 million viewers to go with a 5.7 rating/10 share. CBS was second with a 4.6/8, far ahead of the 2.7/5 for FOX and NBC's 2.2/4. The CW trailed with a 0.6/1.

In the 8 p.m. hour, ABC's "The Bachelorette" had a 5.8/10 to start the night in first. CBS' "How I Met Your Mother" and "Rules of Engagement" averaged a 3.3/6 for second. FOX's "House" took third, topping NBC's "Great American Road Trip," which had a 2.1/4 for fourth. The CW's "One Tree Hill" was fifth with a 0.7/1.

"The Bachelorette" improved to a 7.1/12 in its second hour, doing a 3.9 rating in the 18-49 demo. CBS' "Two and a Half Men" and "The Big Bang Theory" were second with a 5.4/9. FOX's "Lie to Me" was third with a 2.7/4, beating NBC's "Law & Order: Criminal Intent." The CW trailed with a 0.5/1 for "Gossip Girl."

CBS moved into first at 10 p.m. with a 5.2/9 for "CSI: Miami." The second week of ABC's "Dating in the Dark" was second with a 4.2/7, but won the hour in the key 18-49 demographic with a 2.5 rating. NBC's "Dateline" was third for the hour.
