Tracklist revealed for 'The Beatles: Rock Band' game
Unlock the Christmas album, cool, sure, but... where the hell is 'Hey Jude?'
The makers of 'The Beatles: Rock Band' have now unveiled 44 of the 45 Beatles titles that will be available in the video game. The 19 newly announced list includes a couple lesser-known titles like "Boys" and "I Me Mine" on top of "A Hard Day's Night" and "Come Together," as well as what venue/sequence they'll be a part of.
According to MTV -- which also happens own the Harmonix gaming franchise -- players will be able to unlock additional content as they earn more points in the game, with one major treat included: The Beatles' Christmas album, which was previously only a fan club-only LP release back in the day.
As previously reported, this latest version of the multi-player time vampire that is 'Rock Band' is due Sept. 9, the same day the re-mastered collection of all 12 Fab Four releases will hit the shelves. You know what would make it an even bigger deal, guys? If The Beatles estate would release their catalog to digital retail...
Below are the newly announced songs, with the venues, plus the other tracks that have already been out there. But dare we dream that the unannounced 25th song is 'Hey Jude?' That ish will kill with the new three-part harmony option. There's always the 45th song...
Though, still disappointed that a sitar game controller option remains unavailable.
