The Killers plot covers album

The Killers

The Killers may still be touring off their 2008 album "Day & Age," but that isn't keeping thme from mulling another project for release this year.

The Las Vegas rock act is mulling a covers set, according to NME, which may include thei take on songs from Tom Waits, Genesis and Iggy Pop. Additionally, the band been throwing covers of Fleet Foxes' "He Doesn't Know Why" into their live sets.

Former members of now-defunct Louis XIV -- Jason Hill and Brian Karscig -- have teamed up with the group for at least one song, ABBA "One Night in Bangkok."

Given Killers frontman Brandon Flowers' utter affinity for fabulousness, we wouldn't be surprised if there was a Prince jam on there.

In other Killers news, the band will premiering a video for "Goodnight, Travel Well" on MTV on July 13. The theme in the video is intended to raise awareness of human trafficking and the exploitation of young women abroad. It was produced in a partnership between UNICEF, USAID and MTV's own non-profit arm MTV Exit.

The band is currently on tour, with a few festivals here and abroad thrown in, including Lollapalooza.

RocketDigitalPro Big Fan of Louis XIV/Convoy so that excites me to hear they are collaborating with the Killers. But I'm confused as to what does ABBA"One night in Bangkok" mean. Are they covering 1NiB in the voice of ABBA? cuz although I think that would be badass I don't think that is what you mean

Elliot One night in Bangkok is a song from Murray Head and not Abba.
