Star Trek's Anton Yelchin joins Mel Gibson in 'The Beaver'
'Terminator Salvation' actor to share screen time with Jodie Foster

'Star Trek' actor Anton Yelchin has been beamed into yet another morose indie flick, "The Beaver," alongside Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster.
Lately the actor has had one foot big pictures like "Terminator Salvation" and one in smaller flicks like "Alpha Dog" and "Fierce People."
Jennifer Lawrence has also been tapped for a part in the Summit Entertainment picture, which will be released late next year or early 2011, according to Variety.
The film has Yelchin as Gibson and Foster's son, with the former suffering from depression and turning to a beaver hand-puppet for help.
