Russell Brand to star in 'The President Stole My Girlfriend'
'Arthur' actor also lined up for 'Rock of Ages' and untitled Diablo Cody film
Russell Brand
Even Russell Brand has worries about the solidity of his love life. The "Get Him to the Greek" star is attached to topline an upcoming comedy entitled "The President Stole My Girlfriend" for Warner Bros.
Brand will produced the film with his Branded Films partner Nik Linnen. Beau Bauman is executive producing. Matt Portenoy ("Movie 43") wrote the script.
How awesome would it be if Brand's real-life wife Katy perry played the girlfriend?
Brand was recently seen in the box office disappointment "Arthur," and will soon co-star in New Line's "Rock of Ages" opposite Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Julianne Hough. Brand and Hough will also appear together in Diablo Cody's untitled directorial debut.
