Robert Downey, Jr. exposes Tony Stark's massive ego in new 'Iron Man 2' clip
A slick and sexy preview of May's expected blockbuster
Everyone knows that "Iron Man 2" is going to be a blockbuster when it opens on May 7. The billion dollar question is whether it can break "The Dark Knight's" three-day opening weekend record of $158 million. Considering the No. 2 film on the top debuts of all time, "Spider-Man 3," opened on approximately the same weekend in 2007 and excitement surrounding Tony Stark's return is at a fever pitch, it's entirely possible. Is it coincidental than that Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios have released a new extended clip from the Jon Favreau film featuring Stark's extravagant ego at its worst?
The scene, hinted at in the film's trailers, finds Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) jumping in his Iron Man suit from a plane high above Stark Expo, an Epcot Center meets Worlds Fair complex where Stark Industries is displaying its futuristic technology to the public. Diving through fireworks, Iron Man lands perfectly -- and theatrically -- on a platform while sexy ladies shake their Iron Man power sources behind him. Yes, you can save the world in the first movie, but that doesn't mean you won't be set up for a major humbling in the second.

"Iron Man 2" opens nationwide and in IMAX on May 7.
