Richard Dreyfuss is set to join Jason Biggs in the cast of the CBS comedy pilot "Happiness Isn't Everything."

"Happiness Isn't Everything" comes from Mitch Hurtwiz and focuses on a adult siblings and their parents who are all too involved in each others' lives.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dreyfuss will play the family patriarch, with Biggs ("American Pie") and newly added Ben Schwartz as two of the kids.

Dreyfuss' last regular TV gig was on "The Education of Max Bickford," which aired on CBS for a single season and earned Dreyfuss a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. He also recently co-starred in the Sci Fi miniseries "Tin Man," playing the Mystic Man.

Most recently seen on the big screen as Dick Cheney in Oliver Stone's "W.," Dreyfuss' film credits include "Jaws," "Mr. Holland's Opus" and an Oscar-winning turn in "The Goodbye Girl."
