Original Post:
Could the stalemate finally be over for the "Futurama" cast?
According to The Toronto Star, the voice cast of "Futurama" have signed a new contract with FOX after weeks of intense and very public salary negotiations. The network had recently threatened to replace the original voices of the cult show and had gone so far as to announce a casting call for new actors.
The new agreement, which The Star reports found the studios and actors compromising on a new price, makes sense after Comedy Central announced 26 new episodes had been ordered. It's unclear, but the deal may also take into account a planned upcoming feature film.
There is no official comment from FOX, Comedy Central or the vocal talent a this time.
