Radiohead begins recording new album
The British band has let "Legos" out of the box
Radiohead
Radiohead has revealed to the BBC that the band has started recording a new album this week.
Bassist Colin Greenwood told 6 Music the news while attending the Great Escape Music Festival in Brighton, England, as he was promoting a new music magazine, Loops.
"It was very noisy and chaotic and really fun," Greenwood said.
The five-piece British act is once again working again with longtime collaborator and producer Nigel Godrich, who produced, engineered and mixed Radiohead's last set, 2007's "In Rainbows."
"It's at the stage where we've got the big Lego box out and we've tipped it out on the floor and we're just looking at all the bits and thinking what's next?" Greenwood continued.
And it was only last week frontman and activist Thom Yorke urged fans to sign a anti-global warming petition only a few days ago via the band's website.
