The revenge of the '90s rock groups continues this summer, as noisy indie rockers Polvo announce the completion of their first studio album in 12 years. The band has signed to Merge, with the line-up nearly all original, with exception to Brian Quast filling the drummer stool. The new album "In Prism," recorded with Brian Paulson (Beck, Uncle Tupelo) at the reputable Echo Mountain studios in Asheville, N.C., will be released Sept. 8.

The North Carolinian band reunited last year for All Tomorrow's Parties, invited by Explosions in the Sky. They since have been playing festivals and writing new material.

Polvo was originally signed to Merge before bumping up in the mid-'90s to beloved Midwest label Touch & Go, which went belly-up this winter.

Here is the tracklisting for "In Prism":
"Right The Relation"
"D.C. Trails"
"Beggar's Bowl"
"City Birds"
"Dream Residue/Work"
"The Pedlar"
"A Thousand Waves"
