New Teen Choice categories for 'True Blood,' 'Transformers'

Because the dozens of previously announced categories were apparently insufficient, FOX has announced another 13 categories, allowing the stars of "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," "True Blood" and "The Hangover" to get some well-deserved recognition.

The Teen Choice telecast will air on FOX on Monday, Aug. 10 and will feature appearances by stars including (but not limited to) Kristen Bell, Jordana Brewster, Ashley Greene, Vanessa Hudgens, Shawn Johnson, Daren Kagasoff, Kim Kardashian, Sean Kingston, Taylor Lautner, Jennette McCurdy and Emma Roberts.

The event will be hosted by the Jonas Brothers and will including a musical appearance by The Black Eyed Peas, performing their single "I Gotta Feeling."

Fans ages 13-19 can vote once each day for all of their favorite TEEN CHOICE 2009 nominees at www.teenchoiceawards.com.
