Coldplay will "very likely" be featured in, or on the soundtrack for, "Twilight" sequel "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" -- at least according to The Oracle.

Said prophet refers to the British band's Q&A web page, to which Coldplay fans submit questions. Replies come from the band and its handlers.

"I heard a rumor that ‘The Scientist' by Coldplay (obviously) was going to be on the New Moon soundtrack. Is this true?" a writer asked.

"It's very likely that a Coldplay song will end up on the soundtrack to the Twilight sequel given that Stephenie Meyer has credited Coldplay, amongst others, on the inner sleeve for ‘being instrumental in staving off the writer's block.'"

Considering Coldplay's Oracle didn't directly address "The Scientist" as being the song of choice, perhaps fans can simultaneously daydream of a new Coldplay track AND of Robert Pattinson.

The pick wouldn't be all that out of the ordinary, as the top 10-selling soundtrack to "Twilight" comprised of some pretty epic-sounding tracks from bands like Muse, Linkin Park and Paramore.

"The Twilight Saga: New Moon" opens nationwide on Nov. 20.

Lankidoodles Scientist would be a perfect choice for the New Moon soundtrack especially the lines "But tell me you love me, come back to haunt me." And also "Nobody said it was easy, It's such a shame for us to part". Brilliant song choice!!!!
