After four seasons of playing one of TV's great love-to-hate villains on FOX's "Prison Break," Robert Knepper is ready to go bad again on NBC's "Heroes."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Knepper has been cast as the new main villain in the upcoming fourth season of "Heroes," barely skipping a beat after FOX's cancellation of "Prison Break."

Knepper will appear in at least six episodes playing Samuel, a character the trade paper describes as "a Jim Jones type -- charismatic but evil, with a twisted sense of humor."

This is the second piece of new casting for "Heroes" this week, following Madeline Zima's addition for a recurring role.

"Heroes" will take over the 8 p.m. slot on Mondays starting in the fall.

Knepper is best known to viewers as the reptilian (no, not literally) Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell on "Prison Break," a role that also opened the door for appearances on the big screen in last year's "Transporter 3" and "The Day the Earth Stood Still."
