Muse slate six U.S. 2010 tour dates, add Silversun Pickups
British rock act heads to Madison Square Garden
Muse
If you missed out on tickets for the scant four dates that Muse slated for the West Coast this month, don't feel too bad. The British space-rock band has added six new North American dates to its schedule, starting Feb . 27 in Atlanta.
There are few concerts scheduled in between that at April 5, which makes us think more are on the way. Tickets go up on Dec. 12, with a fan pre-sale starting tomorrow (Dec. 9).
Silversun Pickups have been tapped as openers. While Muse has performed at New York's Madison Square Garden before, this marks the first time for the California-based band.
Muse has also confirmed headlining dates for European festivals like Roskilde, and will be at Australia's Big Day Out Festival in January.
They're touring in support of "The Resistance," out this year. We already told you how much we like the single "Uprising" and how it should replace worn-out tracks as a new stadium anthem.
