After making a pair of blockbuster toy adaptations, Megan Fox is ready to get into comics.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fox has lined up starring roles in adaptations of DC Comics' "Jonah Hex" and Top Cow and Aspen's "Fathom."
"Jonah Hex," set up at Warner Bros., is expected to begin production later this spring with Jimmy Hayward directing.
Josh Brolin will play the title character, a battle-scarred former Confederate officer-turned-bounty hunter tracking down a voodoo priest (John Malkovich) raising an army of zombies.
Fox will play Jonah's gun-weilding love interest.
Created by the late Michael Turner, "Fathom" focuses on a young woman named Aspen (Fox) who discovers she's part of a race of aquatic humanoids who can control water, which totally explains how she was able to win an Olympic medal for swimming.
The project is being written by "Prince of Persia" creator Jordan Mechner and is set up at Fox Atomic.
Peter Safran, Steve Bessen and Brian Austin Green are expected to produce.
Last briefly spotted in "How to Lose Friends & Alienate People," Fox will next be seen reprising her role as Really Hot Girl in "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." The "Hope & Faith" star has "Jennifer's Body" opening later this year.
