Leonardo DiCaprio joins Christopher Nolan's 'Inception'
'The Dark Knight' director will direct the 'Revolutionary Road' star for the first time

Leonardo DiCaprio is reportedly set to star in "Inception" for director Christopher Nolan.
According to Variety, DiCaprio is in final negotiations for the science fiction drama which will mark Nolan's follow-up to "The Dark Knight."
Based on an original Nolan script, "Inception" is being repeatedly described as a "contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind."
We have no idea what that means either, but Nolan and Emma Thomas are producing for Warner Brothers.
"Inception" will shoot later this year and is expected to premiere in the summer of 2010.
DiCaprio earned his seventh career Golden Globe nomination for his work in "Revolutionary Road." His next project is a reunion with "The Departed" and "The Aviator" director Martin Scorsese on this fall's "Shutter Island."

March 4, 2009 at 4:38PM EST Reply to CommentI'm interested in pretty much anything Nolan does. Hopefully he'll get one of DiCaprio's better performances. He's not always convincing when he's trying hard, but GILBERT GRAPE, BASKETBALL DIARIES, THIS BOY'S LIFE, and CATCH ME IF YOU CAN have some pretty terrific work in them. Parts of THE AVIATOR, too.
