Katherine Heigl will co-star with Ashton Kutcher in the thriller "Five Killers."

Set up at Lionsgate, "Five Killers" is directed by Robert Luketic, who directed Heigl in this summer's romantic comedy "The Ugly Truth."

According to Variety, the picture focuses on a newly married couple who discovers their neighbors are assassins hired to kill them.

Shooting on "Five Killers" begins next month in the compatible locations of Atlanta and the south of France.

By that time, Heigl either will or won't have exited her ABC drama "Grey's Anatomy" for good. Earlier this month "Grey's" co-star James Pickens Jr. told a reporter that Heigl and T.R. Knight were both leaving the medical drama. "Grey's Anatomy" creator Shonda Rhimes subsequently told reporters that rumors of Heigl's departure were, at the very least, premature.

So who knows?

Heigl's feature credits include "Knocked Up," "27 Dresses" and "My Father the Hero."
