Jerry Seinfeld is coming back to NBC.

No, the "Seinfeld" star isn't ready to return to the world of sitcoms. Instead, he's brought a reality premise tentatively titled "The Marriage Ref."

Seinfeld and his Columbus 81 banner will executive produce along with Ellen Rakieten, a longtime "Oprah Winfrey Show" veteran.

The premise of the show finds real-life couples getting relationship advice from a panel of celebrities from the worlds of sports, comedy and entertainment. Hilarity and emotional reconciliation ensue, we suppose.

According to Variety, NBC has yet to settle on a premiere date or timeslot for the show.

Since "Seinfeld" ended its Emmy-winning run in 1998, Seinfeld has been difficult to pin down. He's done standup (producing and starring in the doc "Comedian"). He's done commercials. He did "Bee Movie." He even guested on "30 Rock." "The Marriage Ref" would be his first steady TV work, though.
