Jennifer Jason Leigh will join 'Weeds' family
'Single White Female' star will play Nancy Botwin's sister

Jennifer Jason Leigh is set to join the cast of Showtime's "Weeds" for multiple episodes.
Showtime announced on Thursday (April 16) that Leigh will appear in at least two "Weeds" episodes this summer playing Jill Price-Gray, sister to Mary-Louise Parker's Nancy Botwin.
When last we left Nancy, she was evading death at the hands of Mexican drug lords claiming a pregnancy. As the fifth season picks up, Nancy asks Andy (Justin Kirk) to take Shane (Alexander Gould) to live with estranged sister Jill in relative safety. Instead, Jill turns around and ditches her suburban family to try to bring things to a head with Nancy.
The fifth season of "Weeds" will premiere on Showtime on Monday, June 8. Leigh's first appearance will be in the season's second episode, airing the following week.
Leigh was most recently seen in Charlie Kaufman's "Syecdoche, New York" and in "Margot at the Wedding," directed by Noah Baumbach. A Golden Globe nominee for "Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle," Leigh won an MTV Movie Award for Best Villain for her turn in "Single White Female." We still prefer to think of her as the star of "Fast Times at Ridgement High," "Georgia" and "The Anniversary Party," which she also co-wrote and co-directed.
