The "I'm Yours" singer taps G. Love as opener
Jason Mraz
Singer-songwriter Jason Mraz is hitting the road this summer starting July 24 in support of his successful 2008 album "We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things." The "I'm Yours" singer will kick things off opening for Dave Matthews Band at Hersheypark Amphitheatre in Hershey, Pa., then continue on his own headlining "Gratitude Café Tour" through the end of August.
Mr. A-Z has tapped G. Love & Special Sauce, K'naan and Bushwalla as supporting acts. Tickets go on sale between May 15-17; check out the artist's website for specific dates.
The summer stint also includes stop-offs at the Osheaga Music and Arts Festival on Aug. 1 in Montreal as well as the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival in San Francisco on Aug. 29. He will open for DMB once again on Aug. 30 at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif.
Mraz will perform a free show as part of NBC's "The Today Show's Summer Concert Series 2009" on Aug. 7 in New York.
"I'm Yours" topped out last year at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. "Lucky," Mraz' duet with sweet-voiced Colbie Caillat, is logging airtime across the country on many adult contemporary stations.
