Two years ago, with the economy in free fall and a dangerous online landscape, little HitFix was born from the collective energies of a few individuals who thought entertainment news, commentary and events needed a new voice for the masses.  In the 730 days since, you've proven our hunch right and 2010 was our biggest year yet (yes, small comparison, but still true).

This year, we welcomed Alan Sepinwall to the HitFix team, introduced new products such as our hub and topic pages, released iPhone and Android friendly mobile browsers and launched a sparkling new design.  Oh, and from Sundance to SXSW to Bonnaroo to Comic-Con to the Toronto Film Festival we literally spanned the globe bringing you what's next in entertainment.  Before we talk about 2011, however, indulge us as we present some of our biggest breaks and favorite stories from 2010.

The New Year will find HitFix growing in bigger and better ways. Is an iPad app coming?  Yes, yes it is.  Will there be more Facebook integration and community features?  You betcha. Will new and familiar voices be added to HitFix's growing editorial team?  That's the plan.  Will Drew grow his beard back?  Well, that may be the greatest mystery of all.  In the meantime though, all of us want to thank you, our regular readers and fans, for your continued support.  Your enthusiasm often make those Sunday morning or 5 AM posts that much easier to pull off.  And moving forward we want to know what you want to see from HitFix.  Feel free to post a thought below, vote in the poll on this page below or E-mail us at news@hitfix.com.

Oh, and one last request.  Don't forget to support our advertisers.  It keeps the IM windows, text edit and photoshop programs running.

From everyone at HitFix, happy holidays to you and yours.

And again, thanks.
