Mark Valley will star in 'Human Target' for FOX
FOX also casts Kathryn Hahn in its 'Absolutely Fabulous' remake
Mark Valley on 'Fringe'
FOX has tapped old friend Mark Valley for the lead in the network's comic book adaptation "Human Target."
Simon West is set to direct the "Human Target" pilot, which comes from Warner Bros. TV, DC Comics and McG's Wonderland.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Valley would play Christopher Chance, a freelancer who takes on the identities of endangered clients, becoming a human target himself.
Does this mean that we've seen the last of John Scott on "Fringe"?
In addition to recurring on "Fringe" this season, Valley also starred in FOX's short-lived (but critically adored) "Keen Eddie." His other small screen credits include "Swingtown," "Boston Legal" and "Pasadena."
In other FOX casting news, Kathryn Hahn has signed on to join Kristen Johnston in the network's remake of the British classic "Absolutely Fabulous."
Set up through Sony, BBC Worldwide and Tantamount, this new "Ab Fab" focuses on fashion publicist Eddy (Hanh), fashion editor Patsy (Kristen Johnson), free-wheeling, hard-drinking best friends.
The trade paper calls the women "middle-aged," which seems a bit harsh toward the 34-year-old Hahn, most recently seen in "Revolutionary Road." Hahn put in a long stint as a regular on NBC's "Crossing Jordan."
