Fans of "Glee" and "So You Think You Can Dance" will have a shorter wait for the return of those shows, while advocates for "'Til Death" -- Don't lie, we know you're out there -- will have a slightly longer wait.

Because FOX is FOX, the network continued to tinker with the Fall 2009-10 premiere dates announced in June, bumping up the start of the season by one week for a pair of key shows.

The sixth installment of "So You Think You Can Dance" and the first full season of "Glee" will now premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 9.

Thanks to this movie and the previously announced rescheduling of the "Dollhouse" premiere from Sept. 18 to Sept. 25, "Glee" will now kick off its season with two straight weeks of new Wednesday episodes and Friday encores, giving fans extra opportunities to stay caught up before the rest of the networks unleash their own fall shows.

In addition to pushing up the "Glee" and "SYTYCD" premieres, FOX continued its fiddling with Friday nights. Even after "Dollhouse" was pushed back, "Brothers" and "'Til Death" had been set to premiere on September 18. Instead, FOX will introduce "Brothers" with a two-episode premiere on the 25th, leaving "'Til Death" to premiere on Oct. 2.

We believe that everything else remains unchanged, but stay tuned in case there are additional updates.
