Exclusive: Katie Holmes has a dangerous caller in new 'The Son of No One' clip
A sneak peek from the Dito Montiel thriller
Who knew Katie Holmes would have a busier year than her husband? Holmes has already starred in the Guillermo del Toro "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" (a partial victim of a bad release date) and will be appearing opposite Adam Sandler and, um, Adam Sandler in "Jack and Jill." Before that comedy hits the screen, however, Holmes' will star as Channing Tatum's wife in the new thriller "The Son of No One."
Directed by Dito Montiel, based on his own novel and a selection of this year's 2011 Sundance Film Festival, "No One" focuses on Jonathan White (Tatum), a cop assigned back to a precinct in the Queens neighborhood where he grew up. Unfortunately, a decades old unsolved murder case puts his family in danger and things begin to spin out of control. Besides Tatum and Holmes, the film features an impressive cast including Al Pacino, Juliette Binoche, Ray Liotta and Tracy Morgan in a rare dramatic role.
HitFix has been provided an exclusive clip from "No One" which finds Holmes character harassed by an unknown caller while she's alone at home. The stranger seems to know a lot about her child's medication and dares her to ask her husband about "two murders in 1986."
