Zac Efron is joining Robert Pattinson as a presenter at this year's Oscars
Miley Cyrus is also reportedly set to appear
Zac Efron will be appearing on the 81st Annual Academy Awards.
The battle of the heartthrobs is on. At least at this year's Academy Awards.
Yesterday, HitFix reported exclusively that "Twilight's" Robert Pattinson would be making his inaugural visit to the Kodak Theater this Sunday and now Marc Malkin of E!Online is reporting that Zac Efron will also be appearing on the show.
Efron, who recently starred in the worldwide hit "High School Musical 3: Senior Year," will present the Best Original Song category. It is unclear if Efron will do this solo or with a co-presenter, but the two stars will not be onstage together.
Malkin is also reporting that Miley Cyrus will be appearing on the show, but not presenting an award. Instead, the "Hannah Montana" star is appearing to support her Best Animated Film nominee "Bolt."
Efron will have his first leading man role in the comedy "17 Again" later this spring.

The Academy Awards will air this Sunday, Feb. 22 at 8 PM EST, 5 PM PST on ABC.
