Ah, a new show featuring women who typically wouldn't like each other, bonding together over one common cause.

No, this isn't another "Bachelor"-esque reality show. And these aren't ordinary women.

"Eastwick," the new television series based on the film "The Witches of Eastwick," debuted some of its pilot footage at Comic-Con this weekend in San Diego, giving audiences a preview of the show's themes: sex, magic, love, sex, danger, small-town idiosyncrasies, sex, curses, dreams fulfilled and sex.

Rebecca Romijn as Roxie Torcoletti, Lindsay Price as Joanna Frankel and Jamie Ray Newman as Kat Gardener play the trio of sorceresses who are just learning of their hidden powers. Behind, in front and, potentially, on top of them is mysteriously rich town newcomer Paul Gross (as Darryl Van Horne), who encourages these women to begin honing their witchcraft. The pilot was directed by David Nutter.

If the chemistry between these actors was as cute and exhilarating as it was during their panel, then TV-watchers are in for a treat.

"I'm actually in control of everything [on the show]. I'm the only one in the show that knows where the show is going," said Gross at one point.

"You're gonna get us all pregnant, aren't you?" quipped Newman, the ginger of the blonde-brunette-redhead triple-play.

"I will succeed," replied Gross, deadpan.

"Better watch it, David Nutter," replied Price.

Check out Price's tight bun (singular) and the phrase "cradle robbing slut" when the series premieres Sept. 23.
