One of our favoritest labels of all time has picked up on one of our favoritest new rock acts. Anti- Records, home to Neko Case, Tom Waits and Nick Cave, has signed Philadelphia foursome Dr. Dog to a deal.

The '70s rock-influenced group, which has released four albums and was most recently making records for Park The Van Records, will put out a new effort some time next year. If history repeats, they'll be recording it out of their own ultra-cool analog studio in Philly.

"Fate," released last year, has been their finest moment thus far. Check out the video for "The Ark," from that album, below.

In the meantime, the crew is hitting the road, as is usual, for all of this fall.
