Rachelle Lefevre has landed one of the leads in John Wells' CBS medical pilot, allowing writers across the Internet the excuse to work "Twilight" into their headlines.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lefevre will play a young doctor "more comfortable in the field than in the office" in the untitled series, which focuses on a mobile team working medical crises.
Amy Smart was cast in the pilot earlier this week.
In recent years, Lefevre has become best known for her role as Victoria in "Twilight" and "The Twilight Saga: New Moon." She was, of course, replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard for the upcoming "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse."
Lefevre appeared in two episodes of ABC's "The Deep End" earlier this spring. Her other TV credits include "Swingtown," "What About Brian" and the comedy "Life on a Stick."
