Kevin Costner, Tommy Lee Jones and Ben Affleck are 'Company Men'
Three directors step in front of the camera
Ben Affleck is joining fellow helmers Kevin Costner and Tommy Lee Jones in "The Company Men."
A timely independent drama has recruited some big time leading men. Kevin Costner and Tommy Lee Jones are joining the cast of "The Company Men" which picked up Ben Affleck last fall.
According to Variety, "Men" finds Affleck as a corporate hotshot who looses his rich over-the-top lifestyle after he gets laid off. Costner plays his blue collar brother-in-law who gives him a construction job as a drywall installer. Jones is a senior partner in Affleck's former firm who struggles with the greedy action of his partners.
"
E.R's" John Wells wrote the screenplay and will direct.
Costner will segue from "Men" to stepping behind the camera for the adventure flick "The One." Jones is also planning on returning to the director's chair as he looks to finance his adaptation of Ernest Hemingway's "Island in the Stream."
Affleck will appear in the thriller "State of Play" next month.
"Company Men" begins shooting next month in Boston.
