Twilight Saga: New Moon' and 'Avatar' switch Thursday slots at Comic-Con
Fans will get to see Robert Pattinson a little earlier than expected
Kristen Stewart in a scene from "The Twilight Saga: New Moon."
Less than 24 hours after announcing it's Thursday panel Comic-Con has announced a big switch. Perhaps fearing the "Twilight" faithful would go manic if they had to wait too long in Hall H (after no doubt camping out all night), Summit Entertainment has smartly switched Thursday preview slots with 20th Century Fox.
"The Twilight Saga: New Moon" panel will now debut at 1:45 PM and will be followed by James Cameron's 3D "Avatar" preview at 3:00 PM.
"
New Moon" will also showcase other Summit titles including "Astro Boy" with Kristen Bell and Freddie HIghmore and the new comedy thriller "Sorority Row" with Audrina Patridge, Rumer Willis and Briana Evigan.
Additionally, it was announced the special 3D portion of Hall H will include clips from Sony Animation's "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs," Joe Dante's "The Hole" and Warner Bros.' "The Final Destination. This series of previews will begin at 12:45 and end at 1:30.
Comic-Con International is celebrating it's 40th Anniversary and will run from Wednesday, July 22 through Sunday, July 26.

July 10, 2009 at 8:37PM EST Reply to CommentThank god! Now I just might be able to catch the Avatar panel. There was no way I would have been able to compete with the squealing masses of Twilight fans for seat in Hall H if Twilight came after Avatar.
