Oscar winner William Monahan is set to make his directing debut on "London Boulevard," with Keira Knightley and newly minted Golden Globe winner Colin Farrell starring.

According to Variety, "London Boulevard" is based on Ken Bruen's crime novel. The film will shoot this summer in London with Graham King producing through his GK Films banner.

Farrell will play a South London native who attempts to set aside his life of crime by becoming a handyman to a young actress (Knightley, presumably).

Before beginning production on "London Boulevard," the "In Bruges" and "Miami Vice" star will be part of the ensemble of Peter Weir's "The Way Back," which shoots in March.

Most recently seen in "The Dutchess," Knightley will next be seen in "Last Night." She's also attached to John Curran's "The Beautiful and the Damned" playing Zelda Fitzgerald.
