When HitFix launched a year ago even the most experienced members of our team didn't know what to expect.  Needless to say, it's been an amazing, surprising and eventful ride.  From Sundance to the Grammys to Oscar to SXSW to Comic-Con to TCA's to Lollapalooza to Toronto to Fantastic Fest to set visits to premieres and events all over the world it's been a journey beyond our wildest dreams.  Through the good times (the drama of "American Idol") and the bad (Michael Jackson's tragic death) it's been our honor to report the latest in entertainment news with an insider perspective you really can't find anywhere else. 

Moreover, our Entertainment Event Forecast became an incredibly well-reviewed iPhone app.  Plus, it went from a editorially driven national view to providing you with the latest local events in your own hometown. And, when you asked for video game release dates? We made it happen.

And over the next few months we're planning on bringing you new editorial voices, an even more powerful and robust Forecast and new features such as instant E-mail alerts for breaking news, new ways to discover and share events with friends, more original video and much, much more. 

(Oh, and get ready for entertainment Power Rankings people.  Who says sports has to have all the fun?)

It's been a blast helping you get your fix and we hope you'll continue to make HitFix a part of your regular online destinations.  Shoot, if we're lucky, maybe you'll find more than a few of your friends here too.
