CBS will celebrate April Fool's Day with the one-hour special "I Get That A Lot," in which celebrities prank ordinary people.
The network announced Tuesday (March 10) that "I Get That A Lot" will air in the Wednesday 8 p.m. hour normally occupied by the comedies "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and "Gary Unmarried."
The special's premise is that an assortment of moderately famous celebrities are out in the world working ordinary jobs. When they're approached by civilians convinced that they're famous, the B-listers deny their true identities until hilarity ensues.
The special includes Jessica Simpson working at a computer repair store, Heidi Klum working at a pizzeria, Jeff Probst manning a grocery store cash register, Ice-T selling shoes, LeAnn Rimes waiting at a diner and Mario Lopez selling hot dogs.
