'Captain America' and 'Thor' battle Nazis and Loki in new concept images
Marvel continues to ramp up the buzz before with yet another image of Odin
Marvel Studios and distributor Paramount Pictures have been ramping up the online debuts for "Thor" this week in anticipation of Comic-Con 2010 and today they added a new shot of "Captain America: The First Avenger" to the mix.
New concept images from both films appeared on Marvel.com and Yahoo!Movies today. The "First Avenger" artwork finds Cap in the middle of WW II fighting the Nazis. "Thor," on the other hand, is in an epic battle with his "brother" Loki on the famed Rainbow Bridge -- a portal between Asgard and Earth. Marvel.com also released a new image of Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Odin (Anthony Hopkins) together (improvement naysayers?).
You can see all three images embedded below, but for larger versions click here and here.
"Thor" opens nationwide and in 3-D on May 20, 2011. "Captain America: The First Avenger" hits theaters on July 22, 2011. Both will be part of Comic-Con 2010's closing panel this Saturday. Look for full coverage on HitFix.
