Canadian supermodel beats '90210' vixen for 'New Moon' role

Isn't it a relief to know that no matter how many daily "Twilight Saga: New Moon" casting stories we run, there are still roles left to be filled?
According to Mark Malkin at E!Online, Canadian born model Noot Seear has landed the role as Heidi, the human bait who lures man-sized snacks to the Volturi, Italy's powerful ruling vampire clan.
To be fair, Malkin may be the only one who actually cares who gets this particular role, which hardly merits more than a sentence or two in Stephenie Meyer's best-selling book. It was back in early February that Malkin got a slew of hits for the report that AnnaLynne McCord, one of the stars of The CW's "90210," had auditioned for the role.
Apparently the 25-year-old Seear, whose ad campaigns include Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein's CK One fragrance, Vera Wang Bridal and Pantene Pro-V, has beaten McCord (and probably several other models and actresses) for the role.
Production has already begun on "The Twilight Saga: New Moon,"which will open on Nov. 20, 2009.
After a brief pause to recharge, production will then begin on the franchise's third installment, "Eclipse," which has staked out a June 30, 2010 release dat
