Britney Spears slated for award, appearance at Teen Choice Awards

Britney Spears will be receiving one of the most prestigious honors at the Teen Choice Awards at the ceremony on Aug. 10. The pop princess has scored the Ultimate Choice Award for her "extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry."
Spears - who holds the record for the most Teen Choice Surfboard awards for a female - will be coming straight from her Circus tour overseas before starting another North American leg to attend the show.
Additionally, Sean Kingston will be bringing his "Fire Burning" to the ceremony, one of many musical performances that also include Miley Cyrus, The Black Eyed Peas and show hosts the Jonas Brothers.
Hugh Jackman, Dane Cook, Twilight stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, Zac Efron, Megan Fox, Cameron Diaz, the cast of "Glee," plus dozens of other performers are also on slate for the two-hour FOX TV special.
Nominees are competing for Choice Hotties, Choice Movie Liplock and Choice Twit, all of which are voted on by fans.
