Britney Spears announces new North America tour dates
The "Circus" is coming back to town. Britney Spears has tacked on a second leg to her North American "The Circus Starring: Britney Spears Tour," to "bring the show to some new cities we missed the first time around," according to her website.
This stint starts in Hamilton, Ontario on Aug. 20 and goes through Sept. 27. It includes pairs of dates in New York and Las Vegas, plus stops at destinations like Greensboro, N.C., El Paso, Texas and Des Moines, Iowa. Tickets go on sale June 19.
"I've made some really cool changes to the show that I think my fans are really going to love," continues the statement. It's tough to imagine an even grander show than what the "Circus" already conceived: it's a $50 million production, with a cast of performers that include acrobats, dancers and magicians. The first go-‘round of North American tour, completed earlier this year, was completely sold-out and garnered enough cash to make her the year's No. 1 grossing act so far.
Spears' has been drawing material from many of her efforts, from "... Baby One More Time" to "Womanizer." Her newest album, "Circus" was a
