Brian Austin Green counts to 'One Tree Hill'
'Terminator: The Sarah Connor' and '90210' vet would play a sports agent

The Notorious B.A.G. is reportedly ready to return to his roots.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brian Austin Green is in talks to take a regular role on the new season of The CW's "One Tree Hill."
The trade paper says that Green, always and forever most associated with the role of David Silver on "Beverly Hills, 90210," would play Nathan Scott's (James Lafferty) brash and successful sports agent. When the last "One Tree Hill" season ended, Nathan had just been called up to the NBA to play for the Charlotte Bobcats.
The sixth season finale also ended with the departure of the characters played by Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton, who will no longer be regulars next season. Austin Nichols, a recurring actor last season, will be bumped up to regular status. There's something at least somewhat ironic about Green, who outlasted almost all of his fellow original generation castmembers on "BH90210," coming onto "One Tree Hill" after the show's first meaningful attrition from original regulars. But only somewhat ironic.
But it's also a fitting migration for Green, were he to join the netlet that now airs a new and largely different "90210." Tori Spelling's Donna Silver appeared on the show this spring to let viewers know that she's now in Japan, but that she and David have been having marital troubles.
Green largely succeeded in ditching his "90210" image in recent seasons thanks to the short-lived ABC comedy "Freddie," a self-mocking cameo in the feature "Domino" and his greatly admired turn as Derek Reese on FOX's recently cancelled "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles." This development season, Green co-starred in The CW's "Body Politic" pilot.
