Bravo sets 'Top Chef: Las Vegas' premiere, cast Is "Top Chef: Masters" only building your craving for a real season of the Bravo cooking competition? "Top Chef: Las Vegas" is less than two months away.

Bravo announced on Wednesday (July 8) that "Top Chef: Las Vegas" will premiere on Wednesday, August. 26 at 9 p.m. ET.

Returning for the series are host/judge Padma Lakshmi, head judge Tom Colicchio and judges Gail Simmons and Toby Young. An impressive assortment of talent is already set to appear in various contexts throughout the season, familiar faces from both the world of cooking and entertainment, including Wolfgang Puck, Todd English, Natalie Portman, Daniel Boulud, Penn & Teller, Hubert Keller, Laurent Tourondel, Tim Love, Michelle Bernstein, Tyler Florence, Charlie Palmer, Paul Bartolotta, Nigella Lawson and Jerome Bocuse.

The production location for the season was The M Resort Spa & Casino, but expect a wide variety of Sin City locations to be used.

"Las Vegas has become a culinary destination – some of the world's best chefs and restaurants are here -- so it's only fitting that our newest season was the best yet," gushes Colicchio in the premiere release. "You'll be surprised by the quality of chef'testants we discovered this season. They really raised the bar."

Bravo also revealed the names of the 17 constestants -- or "chef'testants, as Bravo insists upon calling them -- competing for the $100,000 prize fronted by a wide variety of sponsors.

Season Five of "Top Chef," the geographically specific "Top Chef: New York," was the series' highest rated to date, averaging nearly four million total viewers per week and nearly three million viewers in the 18-49 demographic.
