Anne Heche is set to join the cast of HBO's new comedy series "Hung," replacing Kristin Bauer.
HBO has already ordered 10 episodes of "Hung," which comes from creators Dmitry Lipkin and Colette Burson and director Alexander Payne.
The series stars Thomas Jane as a high school basketball coach who learns to make the most of his leading asset, his rather exceptional physical endowment.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Heche will will play the main character's ex-wife. She will reshoot the character's scenes for the pilot and will go into production with the show in mid-March.
HBO is tentatively expected to premiere "Hung" in June.
It's unclear how the production schedule on "Hung" will be impacted by Heche's current pregnancy. She's due sometime this spring.
Most recently seen on the small screen in ABC's "Men in Trees," Heche starred with Ashton Kutcher in "Spread," which sort to Anchor Bay at the Sundance Film Festival.
