Details were revealed for the planned Michael Jackson memorial concert this Tuesday, July 6 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Gregory Ellwood <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>A press conference was held this morning to announce the details of the planned Michael Jackson memorial this Tuesday at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.<br /><br />The event will be free to the public and tickets will be randomly distributed to fans who register at StaplesCenter.com.&nbsp; 11,000 tickets will be distributed for Staples Center itself with another 6,500 for the Nokia Theater across the street.&nbsp; <br /><br />Fans can register from today until 6 PM PST tomorrow on StaplesCenter.com.&nbsp;&nbsp; A program will randomly select the names and attendees will be sent an E-mail between 8 AM - 8 PM PST on Sunday, July 5 where they can pick up their tickets and wristbands on Monday, July 6.&nbsp; Tickets will not be distributed at Staples Center or the LA Live complex.&nbsp; Additionally, there will be no outside broadcast at the LA Live or Staples Center video screens.&nbsp; Anyone who tries to come near Staples without a wristband will be turned away by LAPD.<br /><br />A worldwide pool feed of the event will be provided.
