A headlining tour with sort-of-kind-of kick off on July 10 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, right before he does a trio of dates with DCFC on July 11, 13 and 14. The Decemberists dates are July 17-19.</p> <p>Bird's sole August date is on the 8th, at Lollapalooza, in his hometown of Chicago; he also tops the Wanderlust Festival lineup. Bird takes off on the next leg of his U.S. tour on Sept. 19 at the Forward Music Festival in Madison, Wis., and will make stops at Austin City Limits Festival and Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.</p> <p>Fan pre-sales for the fall tour dates kick off today (June 30) while most of the rest go up on July 10.</p> <p>Bird has tapped Brooklyn-based 4AD signee St. Vincent to open for him at his headlining shows. This all comes in support of Bird's newest album "Noble Beast."</p> <p>We were sad to miss Bird's appearance at New York's historic Radio City Music hall because, frankly, we've enjoyed seeing him all seven times we've ventured out of our dungeon. Our favorite would have to be at Chicago's Old Town School Of Folk.
