Noot Seear snags 'Twilight' sequel role previously rumored for AnnaLynne McCord. The Twilight Saga: New Moon is already in production.

<p>Isn't it a relief to know that no matter how many daily <a href="../../events/2009-1-8-new-moon">"Twilight Saga: New Moon"</a> casting stories we run, there are still roles left to be filled?</p>
<p>According to Mark Malkin at <a href="http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/marc_malkin/b106081_new_moon_scoop_heidi_supermodel.html">E!Online</a>, Canadian born model Noot Seear has landed the role as Heidi, the human bait who lures man-sized snacks to the Volturi, Italy's powerful ruling vampire clan. </p>
<p>To be fair, Malkin may be the only one who actually cares who gets this particular role, which hardly merits more than a sentence or two in Stephenie Meyer's best-selling book. It was back in early February that Malkin got a slew of hits for the report that AnnaLynne McCord, one of the stars of The CW's "90210," had auditioned for the role.</p>
<p>Apparently the 25-year-old Seear, whose ad campaigns include Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein's CK One fragrance, Vera Wang Bridal and Pantene Pro-V, has beaten McCord (and probably several other models and actresses) for the role.</p>
<p>Production has already begun on <a id="ev_62644" class="fly" href="../../../events/2009-1-8-new-moon">"The Twilight Saga: New Moon,"</a>which will open on Nov. 20, 2009. </p>
<p>After a brief pause to recharge, production will then begin on the franchise's third installment, <a id="ev_84623" class="fly" href="../../../events/2009-2-20-the-twilight-saga-eclipse">"Eclipse,"</a> which has staked out a June 30, 2010 release dat</p>
