Saturday Night Live parodied the Twilight phenomenon with the Digital Short Firelight

<div>As most of you are probably aware, Nov. 20 is the opening day for <a href="http://www.hitfix.com/events/2009-1-8-new-moon">"The Twilight Saga: New Moon."</a> But fewer people know that Nov. 20 also seems to be the release date for a suspiciously similar story of forbidden love.</div>

<div>During the Nov. 7 episode of "Saturday Night Live," viewers got their first glimpse at the world premiere of the trailer for "Firelight," featuring Taylor Swift as a clumsy-yet-beautiful outcast who falls for exactly the wrong sort of teenage rebel.</div>

<div>Let's just say that if "Firelight" weren't just a "Saturday Night Live" Digital Short, we'd be online booking our tickets already. </div>

<div>Instead, without spoiling the joke, we urge you to check out the "Firelight" trailer. Maybe if we get an online petition going, this sucker might actually get made:</div>
