Fast National ratings for Tuesday, November 24, 2009.

After two straight weeks of falling ratings after its blockbuster premiere, ABC's "V" stabilized on Tuesday night, joining the "Dancing with the Stars" finale to give the network a win in the 18-49 demographic. CBS still won the night overall, thanks to the ever-resiliant "NCIS," which remained the night's most-watched show.

Among adults 18-49, ABC averaged a 3.9 rating, nipping the 3.8 rating for CBS in the all-important demographic. NBC was third with a 2.9 rating, followed by the 2.1 rating for FOX. With repeats, The CW finished fifth with a 0.5 rating.

Overall, though, CBS finished on top, averaging an estimated 16.65 million viewers to go with a 10.3 rating/17 share. ABC was a close second with a 9.8/16 and an average of 15.86 million viewers. NBC was a distant third with a 4.7/8, followed by FOX's 3.3/5. The CW's 0.7/1 trailed.

CBS dominated the 8 p.m. hour with a 12.3/20 for "NCIS," which averaged 20.27 million viewers and a 4.4 rating in the key demo. ABC's "V" had a 5.6/9 and averaged 9.2 million viewers, both only a hair below last week's total, while the show's 3.1 rating in the key demo was identical to last week's rating. NBC was third with "Biggest Loser," which comfortably topped the 3.7/6 for FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance." The CW's "90210" repeat was fifth with a 0.9/1.

ABC moved into first overall at 9 p.m. with an 11.1/17 for "Dancing with the Stars." CBS' "NCIS: Los Angeles," featuring a crossover from "NCIS" co-star Pauley Perrette, was second with a 10.4/16 and won the hour in the key demo with a 4.3 rating. NBC's "The Biggest Loser" was third with a 5.5/9, while FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance" dropped to a 2.9/5 in its second hour. The CW's "Melrose Place" repeat trailed.

The conclusion of the "Dancing with the Stars" finale gave ABC a 12.7/21 in the 10 p.m. hour, even winning the key demo with a 4.6 rating. CBS' "The Good Wife" had an 8.1/13, though the drama's 18-49 rating was up from last week. NBC trailed, as usual, with "The Jay Leno Show."

All ratings information comes from preliminary Fast National Nielsen data, which includes live and same-day DVR viewing. All numbers are subject to change.
