Adam Lambert reveals collaboration with Muse, feelings on album cover

More details have arrived on Adam Lambert's debut album, including the artist's defense of his album cover.

First thing's first, though: the first single is, predictably, the title track to the set, "For Your Entertainment." It was penned by Britney collabo Dr. Luke. "get ready to shake yo asses to this song. It'll make ya dance for sure," warned Lambert via Twitter. As previously reported, fans can expect the track to drop next week.

He also mentioned he penned or co-penned some tracks on the set, including "Strut", "Aftermath" "Broken Open" and "Down the Rabbit Hole" (the latter is apparently going to be an iTunes exclusive).

Lambert will also be singing a song written by Muse, "Soaked," as well as "Music Again," by Justin Hawkins of campy rockers The Darkness.

Speaking of campy: As for that album cover that we strongly feel was crafted by an RCA intern, Lambert retorts, "Thank you to those who appreciate and understand that the album cover is deliberately campy. It's an omage [sic] to the past. It IS ridiculous," he Tweeted. "For those that don't get it: oh well... Glad to have gotten your attention."

Oh, OH, we get it: that does not mean we have to like or "appreciate" it. And camp is great when you have something to back it up. We will "appreciate," for instance, a totally fabulous album that lives up to the Lisa Frank backdrop and the hair metal font. Can you make it happen, Adam? "For Your Entertainment" will be released Nov. 23.
